GB Auto Officially Launches iCAUR in Egypt and Unveils the V27, a REEV with Over 1,000 km Range From “Born to Play” to Roads Without Limits  

 GB Auto, the exclusive agent for iCAUR in Egypt, has officially launched the iCAUR brand in the Egyptian market, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the country’s new-energy vehicle segment. The launch coincides with the unveiling of the all-new iCAUR V27, introducing a distinctive approach to mobility that combines advanced technology, bold design, and an extended electric driving experience

 iCAUR is Chery Group’s specialized new-energy vehicle brand, launched globally in 2023 to offer a different vision of electric mobility.  The V27 is the first iCAUR model to enter the Egyptian market, introducing a new generation of Range-Extended Electric Vehicles (REEVs). The technology relies on electric motors to deliver a smooth, quiet driving experience with instant torque. At the same time, a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine generates power when the battery charge level drops, rather than driving the vehicle directly. This configuration maintains the advantages of electric driving while significantly reducing range anxiety

 The system delivers a total driving range of approximately 1,000 kilometers under the NEDC cycle when the battery is fully charged and the fuel tank is full. This gives drivers exceptional flexibility, whether for everyday urban commuting or long-distance journeys. The battery can be charged like a conventional electric vehicle. At the same time, le the vehicle can also be refueled when needed, combining the benefits of electric mobility with the convenience and flexibility of traditional vehicles

 The iCAUR V27 features a bold exterior design that reflects its distinctive character, with clearly defined geometric lines and a boxy body that gives it a commanding road presence.  The V27’s generous dimensions provide exceptional interior space. The vehicle measures 5,045 mm long, 1,976 mm wide, and 1,894 mm high, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase. The luggage compartment offers up to 715 liters of capacity, making the V27 equally suitable for family use, everyday mobility, and long-distance travel

 The V27 is available in two variants designed to meet different customer profiles. The Play variant features a rear-wheel-drive system, while the Wild variant has an intelligent i-AWD all-wheel-drive system that enhances performance, stability, and traction across a wide range of driving conditions, from paved roads to more challenging journeys outside the city

 In terms of performance, the V27 delivers impressive levels of power and torque. The Play variant produces up to 185 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque, while the Wild variant increases output to 335 kW, with maximum torque reaching 505 Nm. The Wild variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, delivering strong responsiveness and high stability across different driving conditions

 The vehicle is equipped with advanced battery technology, available in 20.47 kWh and 34.31 kWh capacities, depending on the variant. The battery supports fast charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes, providing greater convenience for daily use and minimizing charging downtime

 The iCAUR V27’s capabilities extend beyond its powertrain, offering a comprehensive suite of intelligent technologies designed to elevate the overall driving experience. These include a 15.4-inch infotainment display, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto connectivity, voice-command functionality, a wireless smartphone charger, and a front dash camera. The cabin also features electrically adjustable leather seats with ventilation and dual-zone automatic climate control

 The V27 is also equipped with a comprehensive range of advanced safety and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, and a 540-degree surround-view camera system. Additional safety features include a tire-pressure monitoring system and multiple airbags, further enhancing occupant protection

 The range-topping Wild variant adds an extensive selection of premium features, including a panoramic sunroof, ambient interior lighting, driver-seat memory function, heated side mirrors, a soft-closing tailgate, and an automated parking assistance system. It also features a premium Pioneer sound system with 14 speakers and a subwoofer, plus eight driving modes that let drivers adapt the vehicle’s performance to different road and driving conditions

 The V27 is fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels on the Play variant and 21-inch wheels on the Wild variant. Both versions feature full LED front and rear lighting, acoustic-insulated glass, and a range of comfort-focused features designed to enhance the cabin experience under different driving conditions
