Allianz Egypt, a leading insurance provider and affiliate of SanlamAllianz, has been awarded the “Best Bancassurance Company – 2025” title by International Finance Award, reaffirming its continued leadership in the Egyptian market and its ability to deliver integrated and comprehensive insurance solutions. This recognition underscores Allianz Egypt’s strong position in advancing bancassurance and strengthening collaboration between the banking and insurance sectors

Bancassurance represents Allianz Egypt’s primary distribution channel, covering both Life and General Insurance segments. This strategic focus has contributed to strong financial results in 2025, supported by significant growth in gross written premiums and profitability. Life Insurance gross written premiums increased by 15%, while General Insurance gross written premiums grew by 48% compared to 2024, reflecting the company’s solid financial performance

In line with this strategy, Allianz Egypt has established a strong network of seven long-term bancassurance partnerships, supporting its business growth and contributing to the development of Egypt’s insurance sector. The company collaborates with a group of leading banks, including major public-sector institutions such as Banque Misr, which represents the first bancassurance alliance in the Egyptian market, as well as international and regional banks, including HSBC, Crédit Agricole, Emirates NBD, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Arab Bank, and Suez Canal Bank
