Ayman El-Saadany, Head of External Affairs at Vodafone Egypt, stated that Vodafone Egypt’s revenues reached approximately EGP 55 billion during the six-month period starting from April 2025, marking a 46% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

El-Saadany explained, during Vodafone Egypt’s media forum organized in Aswan with the participation of journalists, that there is a plan to localize the manufacturing of telecom towers in Egypt in cooperation with Elsewedy. He also highlighted Vodafone’s strong focus on community service and sustainability, noting that Vodafone has connected around 300 schools nationwide with internet services and tablets to support children’s skills development. The company’s initiatives have also included enhancing healthcare support services across hospitals nationwide, reducing patient waiting times, and improving the quality of healthcare services.

El-Saadany stressed Vodafone’s commitment to improving service quality while avoiding price increases, explaining that the company is currently studying the impact of higher energy prices on service costs internally. Following this assessment, the matter will be discussed with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), which is responsible for making the final decision.

Regarding Vodafone’s wallet services, El-Saadany stated that the total number of wallets stands at around 24 million, of which approximately 11 million are active. He added that Vodafone Egypt’s total customer base has reached about 53 million lines
