Nestlé and Wellspring Team Up to Launch “Nestlé for Healthier Kids” E-Learning Platform, Targeting 70,000 Children with Nutrition Education

Nestlé Egypt and Wellspring Egypt Join Forces to Launch ‘Nestlé for Healthier Kids’ E-Learning Platform, Aiming to Educate 70,000 Children aged 6–12 years on Healthy Nutrition

Nestlé Egypt announced the expansion of its flagship program, “Nestlé for Healthier Kids”, through the launch of its dedicated e-learning platform, in collaboration with Wellspring Egypt. The announcement was made during a special event held at one of Wellspring’s summer camps in the North Coast. The initiative is designed to raise awareness on healthy eating and active living among primary school students, reaffirming Nestlé’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health of future generations through comprehensive, educational, and interactive initiatives.

Responding to the growing need improve health and nutrition awareness in Egyptian society, “Nestlé for Healthier Kids” is the first evidence-based nutrition education program of its kind. It aims to instill the importance of healthy eating habits among children aged 6–12 years, while encouraging regular physical activity and adopting healthier lifestyles.

“Nestlé for Healthier Kids program represents a strategic milestone within our sustainable efforts to promote public health and build generations that understand the value of proper nutrition,” remarked Tarek Kamel, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé Egypt. “The launch of the program’s e-learning platform reflects our commitment to adopting modern communication channels to reach as many primary school students as possible across Egypt’s governorates. Our partnership with Wellspring highlights our confidence in their expertise in designing and delivering interactive educational and recreational activities for young generations. Together, we have achieved impactful projects, and the positive engagement from students and parents encourages us to continue scaling the program to create a lasting impact on our generations to come.”

The e-learning platform of “Nestlé for Healthier Kids” program focuses on educating primary school students about the benefits of a balanced and varied diet, the nutritional value of different food groups based on the food pyramid, the importance of staying hydrated, and the need to integrate physical activity into their daily routines.

Through this partnership, the program will be implemented both on the ground through interactive activities, as well as digitally via the e-learning platform, reaching students across several Egyptian governorates through summer and school camps managed by Wellspring. Activities kick off in August 2025, with an ambitious target of reaching 70,000 students by July 2026. Since its global launch in 2010, “Nestlé for Healthier Kids” program has reached more than one million students in Egypt alone, making it one of the most impactful international programs in the field of children’s nutrition education.
