. Vodafone : 2.5 million beneficiaries of Vodafone Egypt’s Ta3leemy platform for free
Vodafone Egypt revealed that the number of beneficiaries of its Ta3leemy educational platform has reached approximately 2.5 million users to date. The platform includes educational curricula covering all school grades across different educational stages.
Dalia Abdel Rabbo, Senior Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility Projects at Vodafone Egypt, stated that the company’s community services also include providing internet connectivity and supplying students with tablet devices to support the educational process across various stages.
Speaking during a visit to Naguib Mahfouz French School in Aswan, Abdel Rabbo explained that student support initiatives involve providing computers and internet access to enhance digital learning.
She added that the initiatives include cooperation with the Sawiris Foundation to support 25 university students across various universities, specializing in technology-related fields. This support covers financial assistance, tuition fees, accommodation, as well as providing computers and internet access.
Abdel Rabbo also pointed to another partnership with the Grand Egyptian Museum, supporting 500 students through digital training workshops implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. These digital training sessions are held inside the museum. In addition, the Momken initiative provides training for entrepreneurs.
She noted that the total number of beneficiaries has reached 540,000 individuals, across 300 schools in 10 governorates, including Gharbia, Qalyubia, Beni Suef, Sohag, Beheira, Qena, Aswan, Alexandria, Dakahlia, and Menoufia. She added that four additional governorates are set to join the initiative during the current year.
Abdel Rabbo emphasized that the focus is not only on students, but also on parents, through awareness trucks deployed in city centers to engage with parents and introduce them to the Ta3leemy platform and its free educational content
